I don't know what White Diamond tips are made of exactly, but if they're purely synthetic, then they'd be probably the best option. Otherwise it's phenolic, probably.
The Lexan/polycarbonate tip is considerably softer, spongier, easier to shape, and holds chalk better than my phenolic tip. As I said, it plays essentially identical to my very hard milk-dud.
vegans dont eat animal products but they touch them. so a tip that is vegan is a total joke. do you think a vegan wont sit on a leather chair or car seat. or wear wool.
I don't know much about vegan philosophy, but this particular vegan requested it. I put this up as a possible solution for anybody searching this same topic in the future. She has been playing with a leather tip, but said that she'd prefer not to if there were decent alternatives.
