I just heard that George San Souci ( Ginky ) died. So sad.

This is shocking news when a player as young as Ginky passes.

This is very sad. I knew and played Ginky in NYC. A great talent. He was 39 years old.

Amigo, I will never forget our first match @ The Bicycle Club Casino Invitational in CA back in 93! You will be missed, Ginky :(

wow thats just crazy

I was told I was to stream some action with "Ginky" whom I didn't know was george I heard of his name but not ginky. It was to be between ginky and mike dechaine upcoming. Thats too bad I didn't get to see you play.

Seems really young to pass.

I'm so sad to hear the news of his passing away. My most sincere and truly heartfelt condolences go out to his loved ones.

Man, just this past summer he and I played a few games of bar box 8 ball and we shared few laughs while he regaled me with stories. He was a cool and down to earth kind of guy, and too young to die.

RIP Ginky..you'll be missed.

My prayers and condolences go out to Ginky's family, 39 is way to young to leave this world.

I have several matches of ginky on my dvr. I always hate to hear about poolplayers leaving all of us. Im going to play a game right now in memory of this great player. My prayers go out to his family in this sad loss.

Bad news, what a shame.

Unfortunately, Ginky had his demons to battle for a lot of years, I hope he is at peace now.

Godspeed, Gink.

P.s.- I believe he was just over 40 yrs old

This is horrible news and is compounded for me personally. Ginky was too young. He sure did love pool and was a great player.

I remember the finals between him and Allen Hopkins at the Ocean State Championship in Rhode Island one year. Neither one made a mistake. It came down to the breaks, with Ginky winning the title. The picture below was taken at that tournament.

RIP, Ginky.

I wonder if the two "Lost another player" threads could be merged into one, so that all our remembrances and condolences could be shared on one thread.
