A Great pool hall with excellent food at a reasonable price, at least 6 well kept Gold Crowns and several other black 9 footers. Between Golden Cue to the North and Hard Times to the west (Ten Minutes away from both) Scratch gives us the devils triangle of Pool halls. Nice owner Dean as well as a great staff makes Scratch my favorite place to practice. $80 a month gets you all the pool you can play, no weekend or night time retrictions! If you drink beer it has them all! Also APA leagues as well an awesome weekly 9 ball tournament.

If Golden Cue in El Monte is indeed closing, Scratch Billiards in La Mirada would be a good place to move tournaments to! 8 Gold Crowns! Plus 10 other tables, the tournament would be done a lot sooner!
