Klein cues are phenomenal! I have had two Bushka tributes from Steve and he knocked both out of the ballpark. I would say $1,200-1,500 is a fair value. Steve is just about retired and he won't be making anything that isn't already on his list...

To be honest, there's no way to tell who made this cue, absent a statement from Steve, or other maker. There are a lot who do this style of cue. Some clues, but too many to tell. It does look well made, but a buyer would need to get it in his hands, and hit with it to determine the value.

All the best,
WW

The weight bolt is the same as the bolt in a Peppers cue.

The veneers on this cue appear to be mitered (with the caveat that my eyes are not what they used to be). On my Peppers cue, the veneers are overlapped. Did either Lee or Steve miter their veneers?

I agree with other comments that this is a nice looking cue and that buyers should determine value based on personal inspection.

my experience is when someone selling an unmarked, modern cue says it's by a maker who isn't 1st tier or a household name, they're usually accurate.

there are exception's, i'm sure.

I don't know a lot about Steve's work but these shaft pilot tongues look very similar to those I've seen on a cue or two of his...

500-700 is fair imo. There's no signature or provenance. Very handsome cue

I’d say Klein for sure. The was he cuts his shaft pilots is very distinct. If he says yes it’s his..then it’s a 1k Cue.

Yes that's one of mine. Those are one of a kind hand dyed veneers.
I'm retired now so no more cues. When it was new I probably priced it in the high teens, but I honestly don't remember.
Good to see one of the children again.
