Here are some stats from the Alex Pagulayan vs. Francisco Bustamante 9-Ball Banks race to 16 played May 2, 2020 at Ray Hansen's home in Texas. Pay-per-view live streaming was provided by PoolActionTV.

This was Day 2 of a best-3-out-of-5 Champions Challenge All-Around match, with a different discipline played each day for up to 5 days. Remote commentary (by phone) was provided on Day 2 by Jeremy Jones. Ray Hansen also commentated, from a room in his home separate from the pool room.

Bustamante won the 15-Ball Filipino Rotation set on Day 1. Some stats on that set are available here: https://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=511474. Pagulayan won the Day 2 Banks set 16-13.

Conditions -- The conditions for this set included:
  • - Diamond 9-foot table with standard pro-cut pockets and blue Simonis 860 HR cloth;
    - Aramith Tournament balls with a measles cue ball;
    - triangle rack;
    - winner breaks;
    - rack your own with the 1-ball on the spot;
    - any balls pocketed on the break are spotted at the end of the breaker's first inning;
    - jump cues not allowed;
    - no shot clock; and
    - lag for break (won by Pagulayan).

■ Pagulayan broke 16 times -- successful 6 times (resulting in 4 game wins and 2 losses), 1 foul (a loss), and 9 dry (5 wins, 4 losses).

■ Bustamante broke 13 times -- successful 7 times (resulting in 3 game wins and 4 losses), 1 foul (a loss), and 5 dry (3 wins, 2 losses).

Successful breaks (made at least one ball and did not foul):
  • Pagulayan -- 6 of 16 (38%)
  • Bustamante -- 7 of 13 (54%)
  • Total -- 13 of 29 (45%)

Breaker won game:
