Sorry......
Average height for people in the US (not just men) is about 5’ 7” so......
The table height should be lowered to 30-1/4”! (30-1/4” to 31” Allowed)
What is the Average Height for people (not just men) in the WORLD?
Right now in the US it’s 5’ 9” for men but it’s changing.
BTW.....average height of men in the US is getting Shorter due to bad nutrition and obesity.

My GC4 table is on 5” blocks. I love it!
Please, don't mess with a good thing. The table height is the table height

I thought that raising tables a few inches would be nice. Played on some that had been raised two inches, everything was wrong. I suspect that we could get used to a different height in time but it isn't magic.
The "con" to the current height: A friend handed me his cue with new carbon fiber shaft to try Yesterday. I bent over the table with this cue, heard/felt two pops in my midback and I was done for the day!
I am not too sure what that says about table height since it was just the same when I was playing with a house cue but I'll tell it to the world that those damned carbon fiber shafts are dangerous!!

I agree, I hate the accepted standards. I'm not tall, I'm 5' 11" but, I do have severe back and neck issues and the few times I was able to play on higher tables, I was able to play much better for much longer.

I don't believe the average grown man is 5'9 or getting shorter
When I was young most ladies were about 5'1 like my mom,5'5 was tall
now it is unusual to see girls that size
My friend Jack Potter ,who is called Oak Cliff Shorty" is about 5'9 and always
complains about being short
I would have bet 5'11 was about average for men,and maybe taller for 20 year
olds than older guys
I wasn't recommending changing the height , of the table,just
speculating why the Filipino players and Asians are so much better

like with anything, there're pluses and minuses
I like being low to the table, but I wouldn't mind a better overhead view of things
and I'm decent with a bridge
altho if I got better position, height might not matter as much..
