Just getting back into playing and wanted to share what's in my case and see if anyone is still playing vintage Helmstetter cues.

I seem to remember there are one or two around here still playing old Helmstetter cues.

Some nice examples there. :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

I play with two old Helmstetters I purchased new back in the 80's in NYC.

One is a 87-14 and the other is a 87-4. The eight point 14 is for straight pool only. The 4 is for everything else including break stick. Both roll straight and true.

I have a couple friends who play with older Helmstetters. I don't think either of them read AZB. Both cues are very nice and have great old-school sounding hits.

That is a great looking cue! Thanks for sharing. I'm a little tired of hearing on A to Z about how bad Helmstetter cues are.
