Drop dead gorgeous!
I have a few 6/4 & 8/4 BE maple planks, but would not have thought of making a solid full length butt. So, not a criticism of a master, but sheer curiosity: Is that all one piece (as opposed to A, B joints? Any chance any of it is cored?
Appreciate any technical tips for using this type wood for cues. I use it a lot for furniture and to re-saw into veneers.
Thanks!
