Cue Identification (Les Blevins?)

I picked up this cue recently and it hits ungodly good. Curious to see if anyone can help me figure out the maker. Looks dang near identical to a Blevins wrapless I stumbled upon after someone tossed his name at me. Thanks for any help in advance!

PS: if this needs to be moved elsewhere just let me know. Thanks AZ!

Where abouts did you get it, not saying it isnt a Blevins but I believe most all his cues had a 3/8x11 pin. It looks like a solid cue and the brown phenolic is very common to a lot of cuemakers. Can you get a pic under the bumper and does it have a weight bolt?

You might have better luck posting in the cue gallery. Going out on a limb but if you picked it up in either IN, OH or KY I would say it has a better chance of being a Madison Bob than a Blevins...

I had Joey Gold take a peak at it and he was convinced that it’s not typical brown phenolic. I only play with them so I’m definitely not an expert. Only know that it is from California and that it hits better than any cue I’ve picked up previously.

111 - looks dang near identical.

Thanks for the reply man!

Les Blevins uses a 3/8x11 joint screw and that is not the bumper he used on any of his cues that I have owned.

It’s settled then. I’m back to square one. Which is why I wish makers had some sort of hidden mark even that could be found or identified. Even as little as the light machining left on the end of the pin. Something! Haha!

Could be an Al Romero cue. They are very popular out here and all of them play good.

lil AL

Looks like a LIL AL Romero cue to me. I have four of his cues and have been to his shop many times over the years. im not an expert and dont claim to be but that is my best guess.

I bought a shaft for my Troy Downey cue that I was told was a Madison Bob shaft.
The collar on my shaft looks like the one on this cue.

Romero? Probably not.

I'm pretty sure this cue is not an Al Romero cue. The weight screw is correct but I see nothing else that would suggest his work. As far as I know, Al always uses 3/8-10 joint screws. I've never seen a Radial. I've not seen that type phenolic or a butt sleeve that long. I've also never seen one without his name branded into the butt.

But I could be wrong...

Edit: I've never seen that bumper either.
