Hi all - as of September, the beloved Holiday Inn Express in New Albany is now a Best Western. That's why if you click the HIExpress New Albany link at www.dcctickets.com, it won't work.
I don't know if Greg has already worked something out with Best Western, but in my discussion with the desk person, he had no clue (about any group rates or the honoring of such rates).
If anyone else has a clue, please clue me. I have a call in to the customer care folks at the hotel and a text to Greg, so stay tuned if you're so inclined.

UPDATE: The www.dcctickets.com website is actually still under modification for this year. The Holiday Inn Express in New Albany, IN is now indeed a Best Western. And further, the new Best Western as of this moment is not doing any group deals with Diamond for the Derby City Classic. Boo.
