All of the fancier Kues Kieth makes, have names. Mine is the Roman Kue. It was named after my son born on the same day.

Most pool players I used to know named their cue "Wanna".

When they ran out of money, they used its full name and would introduce you to it.

Here's my cue, "Wanna Buyit".

My first cue was a Dufferin Trophy model - wrapless ebony butt and points. I jokingly called it Meisterstück, after the Mont Blanc pens it kinda reminded me of (German for "masterpiece"), although I think I thought it meant master stick.

None of my subsequent cues have names, except very obscene ones when I miss.

I call all my Cues "Ahab" for the great line in Moby Dick

"To the last, I grapple with thee; From Hell's heart, I stab at thee; For hate's sake, I spit my last breath at thee."

Such is my relationship with Cue Sports

I used to break with a 57" Joss West some of the guys referred to as "da booma"

Owned a couple cues that the builders thought to name... never came up with anything myself though.
