Champions Challenge 10 ball.

Arguably the top 2 players in the USA. These guys play hard for the cash! The South Dakota Kid vs The Iceberg!!!

This will be hosted by Club Billiards in Wichita, Kansas.

$40,000 in the middle.

First player to win 3 sets gets the title and the cash.

This one looks like the real deal and I expect we'll see the real Shane show up here!

This one is the real deal for real cash. :)

We had both sides post a significant amount of no show money before this match was announced.

After the Shaw no show debacle.

Berg can play tight pockets. That's how he won at Hard Times.

I read Berg said on fb, GC tight pockets old cloth.

Yes, as far as pocketing is concerned, tight pockets should suit both SVB and Bergman. What is so often overlooked, though, is that defense and speed control, which I'd say are Bergman's two greatest strengths, become more important when the pockets are silly-tight and the cloth is old.

Still, this is tough action for Justin.

Very tight table favors Bergman more than Shane. It more or less neutralizes Shane's break. Less balls going in on the break hurts Shane more than it does Bergman.

Don't need many balls to go in, just need 1 and importantly have shot on lowest number :D
Fargo 30 points difference does not make this an even match. Shane 823 v Berg 792 (But again Fargo is not perfect)
Probably Berg's only chance to win is to:
1) shoot as high B&R as possible :) (his B&R would be more like 20-30% while Shane is around 50%)
2) win all the safety battles
3) not miss

Then he has to hope and pray that Shane misses many pots

So Berg is either crazy or has something cooked up :grin-square:
