We had 11 players in our last straight pool league session.

What is the best way to break down the prize money paying all 11 players?

Percentage of the pot break down is what I am after.

Anyone have an opinion?

Thanks

I would pay top 3 maybe 4.

More balanced
1st 50%
2nd 30%
3rd 20%

Top heavy but more places paid
1st 60%
2nd 20%
3rd 15%
4th 5%

We pay all players each session no matter how many we have and of course each session seems to have a different number each time.

That being said I am looking for the ideal break down for all 11 players in this session.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Kevin...How about total balls pocketed as a breakdown. Ex: match is to 100 pts. Score is 100-88. Both players get 1 point for each ball pocketed. If all match players get equal play this could work well. BTW, I'm all in favor of all participants getting paid...that's the way to grow the league.

If you want to pay all 11, you can go for equal increments with the lowest finisher getting one or two increments. If you top-load the prizes, there will be very little left for last. Here are the percentages if you start with two increments:

2.6
3.9
5.2
6.5
7.8
9.1
10.4
11.7
13.0
14.3
15.6

Not a big fan of paying last place, but even less of a fan to play less people. It is a trade

I gladly make. A little something goes a long ways when you want that team or person

to play next session.
