My middle son is going to college in London right now. When he lived here in Florida he would barely ever play pool but as soon as he gets there and someone takes him to a snooker club he's now hooked. I guess 9 ball was too easy.

As for Bond and Trump - great description in Moonraker (the book!) of 007 invited to a game with M to check out a card cheat and in something similar to what we end up seeing in The Sting, Bond exacts revenge with M as the "dummy"! Don't know why but came to mind when I saw the thread title.
