3 Jim Buss cues!!!๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜

Most of you haven't been aware of this cue maker but still there are lots of those who know pretty well who he is!๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜
In my opinion he is one of the all time greatest and actually he teached Josh Treadway to build cues. Josh was his apprentice and he took over his shop when Jim went in retirement.
Jim Buss has been an electrician engineer and was assigned to work on classifield Air Force Space Systems and did support work for NASA what makes him the only scientist among cuemakers!๐Ÿ˜‰
Well, pretty great background what certainly gave him a lots of knowledge!๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜
He was introduced by pool cues building ny Bert Scrager!๐Ÿ˜
So, here are a few pics of one of three Jim Buss cues I have in my collection....one of them was published in Blue Book of Pool cus๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜

Enjoy๐Ÿ˜

Those cues look nice. Jim is a super guy. And he really could say cuemaking is not rocket science and actually know what he was talking about.

Jim and one of his daughters is coming to visit, staying at our home
For several days next week.
He is bringing a friend who worked with him in Houston in
the Space control center for several years.
If I am not careful, they will want to discuss
the rate at which ions migrate toward the insulant at the instant the cue ball
hits the object ball!

Very funny Will,

I have had a pleasure to talk cues and cue construction with Jim Buss a couple of times at Midwest 9-Ball tour events over the years. I consider myself lucky and definitely more enriched from the experience. He is an extremely smart, humble, and genuine person who makes excellent cues. I always felt his cues didn't get the credit they deserve for the build excellence and playability.

Ivicafranic thank you so much for sharing your incredible cue collection here in the gallery.

Greatly Appreciated

Thank you Don for the nice words!
I highly appreciate it. I really like cues and they are my big passion so it is always nice to share it with others and to know that I made an impact on someone to go for a custom cue!
