I read the guy's bio- al jourgenson- and he was friends with Timothy Leary for a while and al was spiking bushmill bottles with good lsd and living that way for days on end.
He claims a young Tool (band) was backstage and they absconded with his bottle, not knowing it wasn't just liquor.
Years later, they had a bottle delivered to al with a message that it 'wasn't as good as the one they had received, but it was the best they could do'.
Al found out what improvements in chemistry had provided. The spike was like nothing he had ever had.
Al also alleges the til' Tuesday song, 'hush hush' is about him, from when he dated Aimee Mann.
If you read the book and learn of how deep in a substance and alcohol hole he was in, you really can't think he is likely to be aware of anything he experienced more than about 35 sec ago.
He's a whacky conspiracy theory dude and barely coherent these days, but his lyrics are pretty damn snappy and it has a nice beat to hold your honey (down) to.
