Just got this old cue in "new" condition, it never hit a ball butt was not properly stored so there are some dings etc.. it has very minimal taper roll almost not noticable. 11,75mm shaft

I was told that D series is the best McDermott ever made so I had to try it. It hits awesome, outperforms some really expensive custom cues. I was gonna sell it but just cant, its a keeper! And looks pretty :)

I dont know its because shaft is old and cured well over years so it gives good hit or that factory tip become good over time but I love the hit. Its one of those, as soon as you aim you know if you are making the ball or not, cue.

I have a D-11 that I bought new back in late '83 or early '84. Still straight and still looks good.

Recently bought a d9 for 12 dollars. The shaft is warped and the butt needs a refinish. In the 3st photo the cue is sanded colored only needs the clear coat and irish linen change
