Any info on "Hanson Billiards?

I have a 9' table I purchased used in the early 90's. The plaque on it says:
Hanson Billiard Supply
Top Line Tables
Chicago Illinois

3 piece slate, wood frame, cast polished aluminum corners and side pockets with wood panels in between. Ball return is a central trough running the length of the table. Resembles a Brunswick early 60's Anniversary model which is one reason why I bought it.

Anyone have any history on this company?

Thanks in advance.

Hansons Billiards Supply

I recall going to Hanson's in the mid 70's to picking up some billiard stuff, Mr. Hanson was putting the finishing touches on an antique table and his wife worked the counter, were very nice people. Later went back and Mr. Hanson retired, sold the store, eventually the store went out of business.

I learned Mr. Hanson worked for Brunswick as their top billiard mechanic and later started his own business.

Jerimy Chambers can tell you more about your table, contact him at jerimychambers@yahoo.com

Thanks BBC. I have since found another plate that has the address as 147 E. 107th St. That's about 5 miles from the house I was raised in. Funny world. I have e-mailed Jerimy. I'll let you know what he says.

Thanks for the info,
Dan
