Here we go - I just bought a Class B motorhome from a guy in Esko, MN, just south of Duluth. It's a customized Ford ambulance that was too cool to pass up. I've been on the hunt for a few months now and this one was by far the coolest I've seen, and we made a deal.
I have been attempting to find a shipper to bring it to California but the price is outrageous. So I'm thinking of flying to Minneapolis and from there go to Esko and pick it up. It's a 2,000 mile trek back to L.A. so I would make a little road trip out of it. The route I have mapped out is highway 35 south to 90 west. That turns into highway 80, then 76 and then 70 all the way to Utah. From there it's 15 south the rest of the way. If you are somewhere on that route I would love to stop and visit you.
What I need is someone who can give me and my wife a ride from Minneapolis up to Esko (about 150 miles). I would be glad to reimburse them for expenses and maybe a little something extra. I'm hoping someone on here lives in that neck of the woods and wouldn't mind helping out a down on his luck broke pool bum like me.
