On one hand you can still get a Thunderbolt shaft for the Cuetec, on the other hand a Balabushka is a Balabushka.
Tough decision, remember if you go with a Cuetec you will have enough money left over to get that Thunderbolt shaft.

Interesting that this much respect is being provided to custom cuemakers. After 4 or 5 pages of posts, there were only 3 or 4 mentions of production cuemakers that specialize in LD shaft technologies. I play with relatively plain cues from custom cuemakers because I prefer the way their cues play.
