Been playing pool now for 59 years. Luckily health and eyesight has been good to date. Could hold my own with some good parlor players.

Overhauled:
1. Stance, from traditional open to snooker. squarer. Less hip pain and easier on neck.
2.Open bridge from closed, except for muscle shots.
3. Soft tip instead of hard. Takes chalk well without preparing tip constantly. Much better feel for soft and medium hits which is my game.
4. Nearly a no pre shot stroke, Seems to have removed tension. Cue drawback much smoother. Play faster. Position much easier it seems. I do take some medium to hard strokes across upright body at times to loosen up.
5. Rail shots. As with jump shots one would stroke cue over cue ball prior to shot for direction. I do the same for rail shots.
Synopsis: The stance change, open bridge, soft tip, no pre shot stroke, rail shots, have made the game easier and more fun again.
