Considering how many people are getting it (everyone), and the fact that there is extra money added to unemployment benefits, along with faster processing times, it's not bad at all. Unless everyone just agrees that everything is going to be free from rent to gas to gum, there is no good way to help everyone. If there is an issue with paying rent to someone, well that person you are paying to also has to pay someone else for maybe a loan for the building you are in, or food for their family with that rent money you are spending. It's all tied into one big web that is impossible to untangle, you remove a thread, it filters down to many places. Guy gets fired, he can't buy his usual daily coffee, the coffee place can't afford to pay a 4th person to work there, they get laid off, they can't buy the car they wanted now, so the car dealer lays off a worker, the car maker has to cut factory hours or move production to cheaper place, the US maker of car parts now lost business to some place in China and has to close, 200 people are out of work, who can't buy coffee so 200 coffee workers are now out of work... and it goes on and on.
