Linen Wrap Fuzz

Biloxi Boy

Any advice on fixing a "fuzzy" linen wrap is greatly appreciated it. I attempted to clean it with light detergent and water. It did remove some dirt. It did not remove wax. It did not restore color. It did create a "fuzzball". Can this wrap be saved, or is time for a new one?

Thank you.

Some spray starch is what a cue repair person would use. Starch, then press while spinning in a lathe.

I don't know what anybody wants, but I want you to wrap one of my cues. :) :)

Hi Eye
I know. Thank you very much. And I want to. I would like Covig to release it's grip on at least shipping. Shipping has been a flat out nitemare. I wish you were here.

I use SPRAY FOAM HEAVY DUTY CARPET CLEANER TO CLEAN LINEN WRAP-
AFTERWARDS-
I Make a bowl of hot water with a couple spoons white glue in the water and press by hand the water/glue solution on the wrap pretty thoroughly-
let it dry and then press the wrap-
always comes out great-
providing the wrap you are cleaning isn't totally full of grime and crud-
yes,
I have seen some wraps like that too-
if that's the case-
replace the wrap
