Well done, sir!
Cigar room is still just on paper but should be a reality this fall. I needed the space to store and work on stuff.

Thanks, it's been coming together in my head for the last 5 years or so and took close to 2 years including clearing out the space. I finally feel like it was worth the effort.

Does the train actually run or just used as decor ? Great room?

It is still in 100% working order and I have track to run it occasionally but the over cabinet area is a dead end and display only. It would have been cool to set it up in a way it could run but the project was complicated enough as is plus I'd rather not put a lot of miles on it for future generations. By the time I pass it to my son it will be around 100 years old.

I may need a boarder to pay the bills, convenient parking is available at a modest rate.

Damn Sam, that's some plan!

Great basement. How many poles were needed to support the house? Are they the small black dots on the drawing?
