I was thinking of Kent State when Trump said he would bring out troops.
Obviously he is not a history buff

First.....Happy birthday

Age and health are two completely different issues.

Some are unhealthy and or die in their early 30's. Others lead vibrant healthy lives well into their 80's and beyond.

I think Earl said it best:

"Pool is a sport you can play regardless of your age as long as you stay healthy"....

Not sure what to say about the women setting on your lap question.

Jeff

I knew a fellow that thought he was a good boxer because he was in a position to befriend a lot of "professional boxers". It cost him azzwhippens till he realized he wasn't what he thought/wished he was.

Do you know anyone like the "wannabe" boxer in the pool world?

I was a student at Kent State on May 4, 1970, remember the day like yesterday.
Many people now have never even heard what happened. It was terrible.

I was speaking to my friend the other day, she is 35. She didn't know who Reginald Denny was. When the trucker barreled thru the crowd of protesters, I was reminded of what happen to Mr. Denny. I wonder if the trucker had the same flashback.

Unfortunately, history is doomed to repeat itself I fear. Every generation must learn from the mistakes of the past, but they never seem to. A few will, many will not and those few can upset the balance as we have seen. Every youth thinks they are smarter than their parents (if they even have parents today). Wisdom and intelligence are not the same thing.

Is this when you can safely have younger women sit on your lap and say inappropriate things to them...or is that next year?
Hope everyone has a great day too!

happy birthday, sunchaser..hope you catch that sucker!

A billiard table is that richest of metaphors,
by turns a theatre, an altar, touchstone, gauntlet,
ritual ground, a gunfighter's high noon, a refuge,
a verdant landscape for balls to scatter and rest in meaningful synchronicity,
a classroom, a karma dance, mirror of moods, a guide and trusted friend...
