Well played. I hope.

This has been enlightening.

People always gave me guff in middle school for my proclamation that “I am a common sense individual”

Is it grammatically appropriate? I dunno yo, but it is definitely the most powerful way to put it.

Dean just wants to know what happened to the damn cue! I actually thought it would be solved by now.

I guess it is correct after all. The was a confusing one, as some dictionaries only listed derivatives of the word as verbs. But looking at others, some list the root word as well as a verb. Guess I'll stand in the corner on this one.

Agree with Lou on the larger part. Absent facts, there's no need to assume anybody did anything wrong. After all, nobody knows where it was delivered, and whether the person had knowledge or not.

A simple, dignified apology wasn't enough?

Did you check your post?

As a verb, "He was regularly pilloried..."

Pillory is still a noun, despite the bitter complaints from the peanut gallery.

All the best,
WW

Of course, I checked my post. The real question is did you actually check the dictionary, I find it odd that you felt the need to point out to me where it said "He was regularly pilloried...", but ignored where the verb forms were posted directly above that.

It looks like someone may have a Tascarella for the price of the Jackpot

Some people tell me that they prefer the Jackpot

Be that as it may, Jack is making another dozen Jackpot cues

$600 with a $100 deposit

one of the 12 will receive a BONUS cue, something nice,I promise

Only 2 spots are available

PM me to win one of two ways

You are guaranteed to receive the Zorro edition Jackpot

You might win something else to brag about, somebody will win it

when these are sold,it will be too late

So I take it that you received notice that all cues have been delivered.
Its a damn shame for you to have lost this cue this way, people need to do the right thing. Karma is a B*tch!!!

If everyone sent you a pic of the jackpot cue,
you would know exactly who it is.
If you know exactly who it is, why not out them?
If someone is knowingly keeping the tasc,
that is complete garbage and I'm sure others
would like to be advised so they don't have
to deal with such a person.

Wishing you luck on it's safe return, whatever you
decide to do.

My apologies to Lou, and I agree with his larger point. Also, apologies to Chuck and others discussing. OK?

Thanks, but no need, WW -- weze cool.

I've gleaned the important take-a ways from this thread. I feel a haiku coming on:

Dean still wants his cue
Pillory controversy
Lou's a pig in shit

I heard they just found the body of Jimmy Hoffa. His right hand was found clutching a Tascarella; and apparently, he had scribbled the name "Dean" into the sand just before he gave up his final breath.....

Dean, I thought you had narrowed it down to a few people..
if you had everyone send you pics (privately), I would have
thought the Tasc would have turned up.. hope this story
ends well, good luck, Deano.
