Who breaks first?

Flip a coin. I think the winner of the flip nearly always breaks off.

I've wondered about the seating order. Maybe it's the stage hands when they set out the names. Maybe I misremember but I think Ronnie usually sits to the left as we view from the rack end (top of the table).
