Interesting tidbit about him adopting a high-powered draw break where the cue ball mostly lands farther away but breaks up the rack better. Probably a good approach if you're playing on a nicely maintained fast table?

Great video, great commentary. I think these self commentary videos are a treasure for us 14.1 fans.

On a side note, I'm surprised that Max only just ran 200+ balls(according to the video details, he had a personal high run of 200+ the previous night, breaking his own 196 ball mark). I've been under the impression that he had ran 200+ balls before. Guess it's time to revise the 200 ball runners list.
