Auction sent me some great info on a Canadian Company Security System. Thanks. Seriously going to consider this, as I don't really trust the Pay By Month Monitored Systems available in my city.

Chop, when I had my second Break In, I bought custom made window bars for the 2 back windows. Heavy Duty.

I also looked into a custom door gate, but they were all approx $1000.00 to have made.
I don't mind that expense, as I know how costly it can be even having Insurance. You never fully recover all your losses as they only give a small percentage on what they feel your items are worth. And many times, you lose things that cannot be replaced as easy.

I had just found that Lowes and Home Depot sell the door gates, and definitely plan on having a look at them very soon.

As long as they are heavy duty enuff to be a good deterrent, they don't need to be Bomb Proof. As long as the Perps will have a look and feel it isn't worth their while to make that much noise and so on.

Along with a Security System and Door Gates, I think I will feel much better.

As I plan on being away a bit more this Summer, camping on weekends, I want to make sure that my house is safe.

And Hunter, that is an excellent idea with the Wasp Spray. I do have a can close to the back door, but will have to buy another, as this one is almost spent.

That is such and obvious fix, but few would actually think about it. Great idea on the fact that they would likely have to go to an ER, and then a good chance of them being caught is a Bonus. Seriously cheaper than a can of Bear Spray at 60 bucks.

I bet that stuff will also double as a Flame Thrower if you had a lighter.

And yer correct, because of people not wanting to get that close to wasps and hornets, that stuff does shoot a fair ways.

To play Pool, is to suffer.
To learn to be a better player, is to find some meaning in the suffering.

Good to hear you're ok. I'd suggest having a shotgun handy and you can always walk around with a handgun holstered. If it happens again give em hell and don't forget to take a picture with your phone for when the police come

Yes my custom cue also doubles as a light saber. You might say that it shoots lights out. You are now activated Agent 92395. Obtain the funds from Goldman Sachs and deposit into my Swiss account. This message will make you shit your pants in 5 seconds. Sev found it first.

Terry, here is something else you could use for self defense against an intruder. Be sure to check with your homeowners policy for coverage.

For multiple iintruders this is the preferred defense weapon.

Must stay for the fireworks at 6:00

And a little Thermite at 7:20
