I think not.
I was a Marine that served in Viet Nam and I would refuse that order.
We were instructed to follow all legal orders.
I dont think that would qualify as legal.
Now if they charged the border firing weapons then returning fire is legal.

Human life, morality ...the fabric of society is shredded.

No, but they would fire on armed drug smugglers that were firing on them, that have and will continue to kill Americans on American soil. These signs didn't go up because of some harmless women and children just seeking a better life.

The proposal is to send the military to the border to guard it. You are saying you would refuse that order? You are saying that is illegal?

Making the boarder a live fire zone for military exercises including the use of napalm would give them second thoughts.

Then you send in Hispanic US citizens go south in a fake panic, claiming the US military is invading Mexico and killing everything in their path.
Have them dragging some injured people for props.

I don't think it has changed so much. 45 years ago we had been through things like race riots, Haight Ashbury, Summer of Love, Timothy Leary, Charles Manson, Noam Chomsky, FALN, Black Panthers, Bill Ayers, and much much more.
