It was refinished by Barry. My uncle had it done in 1998/99. He immediately got a chip in the butt about 1 week later. The leather is naturally worn and IMHO it is perfect. It was redyed but that wore off quick.

iv been playing with this new murrell for a few months plays very very good just changed my morri to a med/soft kamui and i love the way it plays.
