Earl has been like that for the vast majority of his career, dating back at least to his later playing days in the 90's through today. Not sure why this surprised anyone. I'm glad they had the charity event, and I'm glad Johnny won. Too bad it wasn't against another, less volatile legend so that it didn't take away from what they were playing for.

I was only slightly surprised because it was an exhibition for no money but for charity playing his friend of 30 years.

It is a pleasure to watch Earl play pool....thanks to both of them for contributing to a charitable cause. I hope all of us who watched were fortunate enough to contribute.
