Hello,
The uploaded On Demand video will be a higher resolution and clearer. The upload speed is slower than expected unfortunately. We anticipate this to be done in the next 2-3 hours. Tomorrow we will try to have it done faster.

We also apologize everyone. The internet speed here is challenging so it will take few more hours to upload for the OnDemand. But we will grant longer access to everyone to catch it. If you bought and didn't get chance to see just contact us and we will make sure you get to watch anything missed. Thank you

Day 2 Match Lineup

Day2 starts about 10 hrs from now (6pm local time/ 5am EST)

Day 2 Match Line-up
1) Singles: Ko Ping Chung vs Albin Ouschan
2) Singles: Reyes vs Immonen
3) 3-on-3: Bustamante/Ko/Ko VS Appleton/Van Boening/ Immonen
4) Doubles: Reyes/Ko Pin Yi vs Van Boening/Appleton
5) 4-on 4 : Efren/Buste/Ko/Ko v Mika/Darren/SVB/Albin
6) Captains Pick Singles: ??

After Day 1, West are ahead 4-2. They are even on singles and doubles matches and West have lead of 2 points because of their wins in the trio and 4x4 matches.
So far, Team West is bonding better than Team East
East will have to snatch the initiative to stop the rot and win at least 3 of first 4 matches in Day2 to even the score which they are very capable of.
All this assumes that players form from Day 1 remain same in Day2 but as wth past team events, that is not always the case. The best players on Day 1 were Big Ko and Shane but in Day2, it may be the others

Team Asia will NOT win this event with it's current roster. It's basically a handicapped match with Asia having no players at the peak of their career.

1. Ko Pin Yi - just entering the peak phase but still not there.
2. Ko Ping Chung - IMO is knocking at the door already. He might be better than Pin Yi over time, who knows?!?
3. Django - he has peaked already. Probably has a few more yrs & then his game will be diminished just like Efren.
4. Efren - past his prime. Pretty self-explanatory.

Team West on the other hand has all 3 players at the height of their careers except for Albin. Just like Ko Pin Yi, he's just entered the peak of his game and will probably get better.

Of course West is bonding better than East.
West players all speak English fluently.
East doesn't have a common language.

East countries don't share borders, cultures & languages like West does.

OK, we are ready to rock and roll with Day 2
1st match of day features the 2 youngest from both teams
Singles: Ko Ping Chung ("Little Ko") vs Albin Ouschan ("Little Ouschan)

IMHO, Little Ko is favorite in this one but depends on how they break

Albin has habit of scratching . Scratches in2nd rack and also last rack. In recent World Cup of Pool , he was scratching a lot also :D

Team East pulls within 1 point now behind 3-4

Little Ko missed nothing. He made one error (in Accu-Stats terms) -- a safety error in Game 2. He made 33 balls to Ouschan's 11. So Ko's TPA was 33/34 = .971.

Mika breaks. <Stream freeze>. Mistake by Mika and Efren plays beautiful safety and then takes 1st rack to lead 1-0. Mika is favorite in this match but looks like Efren wants to win this badly
Go go Efren

Wow
Efren breaks , ball down . Safety battle on 3 but Mika sells out and Efren runs out to get to hill 4-0.
Efren in the zone

Mika breaks dry. Efren make some nice banks with some help from the bakery, entertains crowd with a dance along the way but hooks himself on the 8 and then scratches. Mika runs out for West's 1st rack of the day. Efren's adrenaline getting to him Efren 4-1

Efren breaks , 10 ball down but does not count and respotted. Efren running out but overdraws and scratches. Mika runs out
Efren 4-2 and Mika is breaking.
