Willie Hoppe with 2 piece ferrule? - 03-31-2016, 06:51 AM

I have a Willie Hoppe cue which appears to have a 2 piece ferrule. I have other Hoppes that have all buck horn or all ivory ferrules. My cue tip person thought it to be a screw in tip. Or is it original? Found this cue on net that looks just like mine. Any info appreciated.

Its original, not a screw in and its in great shape. I made new shafts for mine so I can play with them and park the shafts that came with my Professionals.

Thanks again for the information. I suggested to him to take a light skim cut off the face of black part and put on a new tip. When he did he found metal in the middle. I was worried that it was a screw on tip and I messed it up. I just wanted to keep it original as possible.
