I bet the sweaters-n-lurkers in that room could bust most any room in the U.S. Seems like everybody over there can play.

US players should take note, the pinoy's best players match up vs each other on a regular basis that's what keeps them sharp and in top form.

Very seldom do we get to see a match up of the top Americans vs each other.

We got four of the very best pinoys here in this match it would take a miracle almost to get top four americans to play each other

Great match up here from four of the very top Pinoys

7-7 now racing to 25

What's up with the guy marking by the balls with chalk?
They play if you move a ball it gets moved back that's why they mark balls close to where they are shooting

Strange rule really never seen them move a ball back that was moved lol

This is real pool in the Philippines! The crowd that you can't see are making bets on every game and paying off game by game. Just listen to the conversation in the background between games.

The refs are all well qualified. That is Troy Danao doing the main job, marking balls and calling hits. He is #1 over there. Then notice the other two guys who clean the table between games, removing all the chalk marks and powder. I love this atmosphere!

In a match like this they are probably betting something like 50,000P ($1,000) a side (or more). The side betting going on maybe be as much as 10,000P a game.
Matches of this length are normal in the Philippines.

How do they ever adjust to quiet(by their standards) pool rooms over here?;)

Notice there is no BS going on between the players. They just get up there and play pool!
