Pool in Vegas?

I'll be in Vegas for business from January 15 to January 22. I'll have my cue with me, although I play more poker than pool in that town.

I'm not looking for action, but I won't avoid cheap sets if they are friendly. Its always good to play other AZ'ers when I travel.

i only go to Mickeys on Eastern n Vegas they have all new Diamond tables, I havent been to the other pool rooms in years, I play at home here. In i'm staying in LA is when I go out because I dont have a table. I have heard pool Sharks is good, it was last time I was in there in 93. Cue Club is the biggest and oldest its close to the strip. Action here is bad, awalys has been awalys will be. but the dry tables are nice.

i dont remember but when i see you i'll remember for sure, i might be in germany then i'm not sure, its 50/50 right now, I have a lawsuit I filed that I might have to appear in court for, if not then I will probably be in Germany for my back problems. I hope I can push Germany foward a bit. Find me here and we'll make a plan, i'd like to hook up.

i'm going to be moving to las vegas the first week of january. i was there a couple of weeks ago and hit up mickeys one night and it is a pretty nice room. hit me up when you get there and we'll head down there and shoot some

oh, and yes... you will miss CES and the adult expo by a couple of days

I'm in Vegas fairly often, so if not this time, we'll hook up eventually. I may make the DCC for a couple days too. And I'll be in Germany next year, so who knows?

I went to the CES show a few years ago, I had no idea that it was the same week as the adult film convention... Ironically they were walking around our hotel wearing almost nothing the whole time I was there...

I tried to make it to a pool room, but the cabby told me that the better pool rooms were in bad areas and he didn't recommend tourists going...
I would have loved to have visited the SW cue shop

i'm gonna get a condo in Munich in a year or 2, I want to live there for a few years, i love the people there, and I'll play while i'm there too, great people to match up with. If Ralf shows up he'll get the 7.

nothing is organized in Vegas there are multi-million dollar homes next to the hood, and the reverse. there arnt safe or unsafe areas they are all mixed together, my friend got rolled 2 times in 3 weeks in Summerlin(a good area?) just gotta keep your eyes open, its worse than most other citys, i'm more comfortable in most of LA(i live there too) some areas of LA are suicide.

The AVN show is cool, I have been to 2 times, I know a few girls in the "Biz" so its cool to go see them etc. alot of eye candy.ALOT.

I went to the Mosconi Cup and after, I shot/practiced with my friend at Pool Sharks on Decature where he shoots from 8:00AM til 5:00PM for $9.00 total - good deal. The place has good tables complements of the IPT, but is very smokey and not clean - good friendly people there though.

I also went to Cue Club on Sahara for their senior rate of $2.75 per hour during the day. The better tables are well kept and the balls are clean and bright - much nicer than Pool Sharks. The two times I went to practice, I was asked if I wanted to gamble - I don't (have to).

I spend most of my time in the hood of north las vegas-two blocks north of Bonanza.off Martin luther king on owens & H street.we have frequent gun battles either between the cops and hoodlums or between the bad ass hoodlums.

Hair Unlimited is my spot there, yeah there is a bit of action there, i lived on rancho and the 95 for years and could hear the guns every night, well almost everynight. your right its a tough spot

I will be @ the CES show for my business, and I knew of the Adult convention as well. So how far from the strip is a decent place to play? I will be staying @ the The Fairfield Inn Resorts about 2 miles from the strip I believe it is.
