a) you haven't done a thing yet, and

b) you were already called out about your false claim about having never mentioned pool and your glue together, and ignored it.

It is generally a good idea to actually accomplish the accomplishment before patting yourself on the back for the accomplishment. Being honest about what you've said in the past is a good idea as well.

Not true.
Sorry about nitpicking but (at least)Dennis Walsh, Bill Maropulous, Bob Jewett and Dr. Dave have done a lot to promote pool AND used their own money while doing it.

Can't speak to the specifics of the others but Bob Jewett was putting at least $10,000 a year for many years out of his own pocket to do the straight pool challenge at the DCC among other things. That is a lot of money over the years directly financing a tournament in full, and he provided the labor to run it too, and he wasn't doing it to try to make any kind of profit either. He is owed a lot of appreciation IMO as are the rest for whatever their contributions have been.

Greg Sullivan and I sponsored the BigFoot Ten Ball Challenge for several years (16K added!). It quickly became the most popular event at DCC.

Sell your product. Make money, why do you care what guys with pool cues worth more than their daughters car sell for. Maybe prioritizing is your issue.

I didn't say you haven't, and you have certainly done some great things that have advanced equipment in the game. That doesn't change that you unfairly disparaged a number of guys by saying they haven't done anything for the pros or pro tournaments when at least some of those that were being discussed clearly have. I was just correcting what was obviously a mischaracterization of some people and you realize it was a mischaracterization as well so not sure why you aren't walking that one back. I think we all do, or at least should, have appreciation for all who have contributed to the game in whatever manner, and even more so when it isn't even motivated by profit or recognition.
