World famous draw stick ready for close investigation - 09-28-2019, 02:41 PM

Several years ago Keith josey made me a sneaky pete with
a cue ball ferrule

This cue could draw the ball so crazy it was called the draw cue

I could hit a soft shot about half ball cut and the cue ball would masse draw
back at me

Jack potter and jerry franklin, south west cue jerry

they all were amazed

i donated the cue yo denny glenn,he is returning it so Larry vigus can closely examine it to see why

I could hit inside english, cut a ball close to the side pocket and go forward 3 rails to the corner far away

I never saw anything like it,magic

Jack ordered another from Josey but it was nice but not magic like mine

30 years later we are going to see if Larry Vigus or jake can figure out why

I am reporting the truth, some of you might want to speculate

If you don't finish your prescription this month, can I have the leftovers?

i am glad you find this unbelievable

I was playing with Jerry franklin,I hit a cut shot fairly easy
it looked like a soft masse' shot in reverse

Jerry handed me his tulip wood south west and played
the rest of our day about 2 hours with my Josey

Jerry had a huge grin on his face,it was unreal

It was not meant to be anything but a sneaky pete

Jack potter ,of Libra cue fame can make the same report

Dennis Glenn was so impressed he asked for me to put it
in his collection, which I did until next week and I am borrowing it

if this cue still does it,honestly some of you guys would need to come to dallas to see it

I could draw better than Mike Massey, and i have no stroke

i know you guys think i am crazy

I think it is a great idea. I don't know if they will discover anything useful. But I am interested to hear what they learn.

When you get it back, if it still draws the way you remember, please have Vigus video it for us before taking anything apart.

If you have any of the following videos, we would be interested in those as well.

Big Foot
Loch Ness
Abominable Snowman
Jersey Devil
UFOs
Gremlins
Santa (or his reindeer)
Tooth Fairy
The Great Pumpkin
Easter Bunny

or

Runs of 600+ balls.

I don't like making plans for the day, because then the word "premeditated" gets thrown around in the courtroom.

Swear to god this is why I love this forum.

I need to have a drink with Dean before it's too late. I missed Smorg, Tramp, and a few others(hopefully Tramp is still around) There are a lot of other AZ peeps I'd like to meet, probably too numerous to mention. There's probably a few I disagree with regularly that I'd still like to drink and hit balls with. Actually, thinking about it, all of you.

larry is not going to take it apart

he is going to examine it to see if he can understand why it works
the way it does

it is a standard sneaky pete made from house cue a shaft with a ferrule made
from a cue ball

unlike you guys he actuall y believe what i told him about the cue

i haven't seen the cue in 20 or 30 years,it was simply a cue
Josey made for me,he had no intention of making a trick ciue
when I told him about it,he had no idea why.

When both Jack and I ordered another one, neither cue was
anything like this one.

I can not remember who else hit
the cue,but many did and all were amazed at it's performance

I have never seen anything like it,I hope it still works after all
these years,Dennis told me that the butt had a serious crack develop
a few years back, but that he and his brother Steve hit a few balls
and it still produced unreal draw shots

When people used to see it,they real really were amazed,

I have the idea that it must be the shaft or ferrule, but we never tried it on another butt

At any rate I have posted several times over the years about this phenomenal cue and
I am dead serious about it and our desire to take a second look
