I enjoy watching a little

If Billy comments then I like to listen,he has a certain inside knowledge and charm

If you ever played serious money matches these video things are close to what I
call the real thing

Not really as exciting,not the same as being there,but a chance to really see
terrific pool

I have been wanting to see Shannon,Chip,Joey, Gabe,Billy with a handicap,especially Nick Varner

Until I see somebody win his money I am not going to believe they can

On The Wire just streamed the Markulis tournament this past weekend. Cohan and Schmidt and a lot of other good players in the field. The commentary is “okay”. Lots of unnecessary chatter from Ra and Butera as commentators. Some poster said Butera sounded like a New Jersey mobster and got all kinds of grief during a match. Incardona is the best announcer. The rest are talking heads.

Have one down there in BigD. You and your OakCliff mafia buddies could do the commentary and you could sell cues during breaks like an oldschool used car salesman. ;)

Can't disagree with your opinion if you are only referring to the announcers listed.

Expand the list and Jeremy Jones rises to the top-just like cream. He is without parallel in one pocket announcing.

jeremy is certainly a knowledgable announcer, he hold the distinguished honor of reducing my bankroll while at the same time leaving me feeling friendly and glad to speak with him

while at the sme time i do guard my wallet and watch my mouth in his presence

I enjoy watching these guys,but for me to put money into a game either to add to the pot
or bet a significant amout it would have to involve Nick ,Or Billy

Honestly I must apologize, my meds have me running my mouth, i kinda get interested in a game
and find myself poping off

I apologize

I really do enjoy see these great players like Bustamone and Efren or Gomez

They play so great I have to admit I seldom learn anything I could use in my
own games if I were to play

I really would be afraid to ask for a game, I play 4 hit and the pick under Cardone
and no telling what he needs to play these great young guys

I still believe JJ talks waaaaaay too much. I'll take the helpful but near mum Bigtruck over him any time though i don't think Ray even considers himself a commentator. I like Billy also-mostly for his sense of humor.

I kinda agree here. JJ has unreal knowledge but i don't need to have EVERY single shot analyzed. Just use good mikes and let the game speak for itself. Analyze/instruct when necessary. I feel this same way about golf. A lot of them just won't STFU. We have eyes, ears and brains. A little goes a long way.
