McDermott Weight Bolt - 05-20-2019, 08:39 AM

Hi everyone,
I'm writing from Germany.
I own a McDermott G239 ( for reference) and I'd like to ask few questions to whoever owns or owned one of those.
- Has anyone bought a weight bolt from an Home Depot? Here sadly the standards for bolts aren't the same so I can't use any of the ones I find in shops.
- Has anyone tried to make an homemade screwable extension?

Thanks to whoever will try helping me.

Hi Tony,
The McDermott Weight Bolts for the G239 are 1/2 inch thread.
The weight bolt is removed with a 1/4" hex wrench (Allen Key)
The weight of the bolt is stamped on the flange ( in ounces )
Find a McDermott Dealer in Europe or order a bolt directly from McDermott
I would recommend replacing bolt with an original factory weight bolt
Send your cue to McDermott to Retrofit your Cue with the Engage Extension Bumper
Purchase an Engage Quick Release11" Extension for your cue
The Engage Extension Bumper will be professionally problems.... your warranty will remain intact.
The Extensions fit perfect and look fantastic!
All the Best!
