I have an older brunswick anniversary 130 table, the rails are bolted down to the slate with 5/16 studs and nuts. one stud has pulled out of the particle board on the rail. what is the best way to fix this? any help would be great. thanks Lonnie btw I was told a new rail is no longer available

These will work for your rails. If you had hardwood rails I would suggest something else.

thanks that plate looks like what i need. I was wondering about gluing in a dowel and screwing the stud into it but wasnt sure how it would hold in particle board. would i have to recess the plate with a forstner bit?

Yes sir, a Forstner bit is exactly what you need. Wood River has a nice selection for a good price, of course it’s courtesy of China.
