16-5 Tyler’s up. The players are taking a break. I don’t see how Jesus claws back even at this early point in the match. Tyler’s break is just too good.

Never heard of Jesus Stencil. Admittedly, some guys you've never heard of shoot plenty straight.

i hadn't either, but i had heard of the venezuelan player jesus atencio.

is tyler or jesus backed by roy? anyone know?

OT: in the town i grew up in we used to call the electrician jesus, cause everybody had heard about him but noone had seen him. he said he would show up but rarely did. his norwegian name was kjell so eventually it became kjell-jesus

Jesus is backed by Roy.
Jesus had a but of a run towards the end.
Styer up 33 to 26.
Styer had him 8 to 0 from the start and essentially kept the lead.

Both are playing very well, though I think Jesus has more room to come with his best game.

What was the score last night?

How many BNR's for Tyler? I watched briefly and heard Roy mentioning about new rails making the table play like 4.25" pockets?

33-26 Tyler.

I really like Jesus' pace. His form reminds me of John Morra but on fast-forward. Tyler's 10b break is so damn good though. Jesus might can play Tyler 9b even.

33-26 Tyler.

I really like Jesus' pace. ...

It looks like the 59 games took about 8½ hours, for an average of about 8½ minutes per game. Was that because of Tyler's pace? Were there any lengthy timeouts?

I only watched some here and there at work last night.

Tyler starts Day 2 with a 3 pack. 4 balls dropping on the break like Shane.

Tyler the #2 US player in 10b imo.

I don't know the equivalent spot, but I would prefer watching both players play thru the 10b and maybe give 5 games on the wire.

About a 25 minute break, after Tyler reached 16 wins.

Thanks, without that 25-min. break the average is still a bit over 8 min./game.

Just-for-fun comparisons:
  • Styer/Robinson race to 100 earlier this year -- 6.8
    SVB/Orcollo race to 120 last year -- 5.7
    Filler/Aranas race to 100 earlier this year -- 4.1
