Longoni S2 thread

I have a customer who wants me to make some shafts for a longoni cue.

Does anybody know on which screw thread the longoni S2 is based on?

Its thread dia is 9,9mm so it can not be based on any 3/8" thread from my point of view.

Thanks

The last one that I did, as recently as last week, was 9mm even.
Your declaration of 9.9mm seems a little odd to me.
9mm is .354", 9.9mm is .389". Care to measure it again?
Only because I'm a true believer in the axiom, "measure twice, cut once".
Is the pin a constant thread or is it sectioned, blank, thread, blank?
A pic would be helpful also.
I think I can help you but you're going to have to provide a little more info.

Don't be so quick to thank me as I don't think I can help you.
That's not a pin that I've seen before. Didn't really get a good
look from the pic either.
Bastard pins usually require bastard inserts.
Your choices are either get one from Longoni or make your own.
Sorry I can't help you further.

?

i beleive the cue is a Longoni Blades model, @ a $5000 cue, the pin is titanium in a diamond like coating mounted in a juma core, and the insert is a self lubricating brass insert, kind of technical to be messing with.I think if the guy can afford a 5k cue he can afford to get some original shafts from Longoni, no ? not trying to be rude, just my opinion

your are right with the description of the pin, but the cue cost 800€ ~$1150.

Does nobody know anything about that pintype?
