Ever have one of those so happy youre goofy feeling moments? A guy I helped starting out playing pool just won the AK state 10 ball open. He would come around the pool hall and bs and hang out. We took a liking to him and showed him some stuff. He went on to play his ass off, and now he has won 2 state events.
I know most of the work was on his end of it of course, and the victory is most definitely his. But I cant help but feel a little proud not only of the guy for how hes playing now, but of the time me and Al spent with him on cue ball control. The kid was a straight shooter, he needed a push on how to work the ball, and voila. :thumbup:
