Here are the Results of the Monthly 3rd Saturday (February 21, 2009) Straight Pool Tournament at Hard Times in Bellflower, CA.
1st Place- Jose "Amang" Parica - $360.
2nd Place- Fach Garcia - $185.
3rd & 4th Place- Jon Berkers, Ramin Bahkitiari - $90. Each
We had a solid field of 22 players. We had matches that had some great safety battles with a few forty & fifty ball runs from the likes of Jose Parica (highest-57). Fach had an excellent tournament day. His matches prior to the finals were all "FACH" with complete focus and surgery of every rack. But at the end... it would be Mr. Jose Parica that would sail through the tournament and prevail as the winner. Fach was able to jump out of the gate with 22 pts until Mr. Parica was able to take hold of the match and FINISH IT.
