World Championship Crowd Allowed in Crucible :

Quotes .
"There will be a World Championship crowd at the Crucible Theatre this year after the UK government announced the event among its new pilot scheme for the return of spectators.
Along with other upcoming sporting competitions in horse racing and cricket, snooker will be used as a test for the reopening of live sport to the public."
Sports minister Nigel Huddleston said: “For months millions of us have felt the void of being unable to go to the match to support our team or attend a top-class sporting event.”
“So I am pleased that we are now able to move forward with a plan to help venues safely reopen their doors to fans.
“I recognise that not every sport, team or club has the benefit of huge commercial revenue, and it is often their dedicated fans that are the lifeblood which helps keep them going. By working closely with sports and medical experts, these pilots will help ensure the safe return of fans to stadia.
“Although it will remain some time before venues are full to capacity, this is a major step in the right direction for the resumption of live spectator sport across the country.”

Convinced I had a very mild version at the Masters final in January. I coughed all the way though it and couldn’t have gone the week before I was so rough. If I did have it then I could have infected loads. No way there should be fans there this year.

I think me and the Mrs had it in Jan. Mrs had been to international education fairs in London, Sheffield and Birmingham, lots of Chinese and European students come back after Xmas. We were both crocked for about three days, lots in work had it too.

No, it would still feel like a risk. And also, I'd rather sit at home and watch it without a mask than sit for several sessions a day in a mask.

No chance that’s gonna work either let people in or don’t.

I would personally so long as its socially distanced (if there was someone persistently coughing might be different!) but have been working right through the whole schamoodle in close proximity to others seemingly without any of the workforce being adversely affected.

But have already gotten a refund for my tickets so dont think I would be bothering now in the unlikely event they did open it up. Think the risk to Ronnie would be negligable unless he had someone hanging over his shoulder coughing and spluttering.

Tough enough to breathe in a face mask let alone with all the tension going on.

Someone behind me at Southport had flu symptoms. There were a lot of older people there like. Hope everyone was ok.

Funny you should say that as I felt really hot and had a migrane on the train home from Southport on the Monday. Couldn't taste a thing for days afterwards too and I also became tired very quickly and had to have naps during the day. Was very odd.

World Snooker Championship: Ronnie O'Sullivan expresses concern over crowd being allowed at the Crucible :

"According to the Sun, he said: "If they start bringing in crowds in, even if it is only a couple of hundred, I wouldn’t feel good about that. And I think to the point where it would even affect my willingness to participate.
"I don’t think there should be any crowds in an indoor area until at least 2021 and, to me, it seems insane that we are even talking about it."
PM Boris 'Bonkers' Johnson has changed his tune over lockdown policy against his team of science advisors but let's give him his full title , Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson .
Would you listen to advice from someone with the name de Pfeffel in his title ?
There's three F's in de Pfeffel .
