Swan song? Urban is interested in keeping Jim at TTUN
Hell, Urban Meyer was giving him advice about team building

They have the players and the coaches. But after a loss, there
needs to be a team meeting after they get home. Tonight and
put it to bed.

Wisconsin womped TTUN.

With all the Wisconsin red, TTUN had OSU derangement syndrome.

They saw the Wisconsin students chanting around the stadium.

O - H I - O

O - H I - O

O - H I - O

They did have a fairly good 4th quarter.

I am cable free, so ...

I am dependent on the good souls that post a video replay
on Youtube.

OSU 76 Miami 5

I saw those ticker-tape scores watching another game.
It was Miami 5, OSU 7. What was that?

No doubt the 5 gave OSU increased incentive.

A Summary of the game.

Miami (OH) vs #6 Ohio State Highlights

I am watching it now. The full game perhaps this afternoon.

Wow! Looks like OSU has 3 starting QBs and two outstanding freshman
receivers. Of course DE Young showed up for 2 QB sack strips.

Of course, this is a gift to Jim Harbaugh, coaches and his Blue team.

🏈 BUCKEYES DOWN REDHAWKS

SEPTEMBER 21, 2019

After a slow start and spotting Miami a 5-0 lead, Ohio State exploded for a 42-point
second quarter en route to putting 76 unanswered on the scoreboard. Quarterback
Justin Fields accounted for six total TDs in the first 30 minutes as the Buckeyes moved
to 4-0 heading into a night road test at Nebraska next week.

Ohio State outgained Miami 250 to negative seven in the decisive second quarter with
Fields rushing for a pair of TDs and throwing for four scores. Defensively, the Buckeyes
recorded five sacks, including a pair from Chase Young.

FIRST QUARTER
Ohio State 7, Miami 5

After falling behind 5-0 on a Miami safety and 21-yard field goal midway through the
first quarter, Ohio State responded with a seven-play, 75-yard scoring drive that was
punctuated on a 26-yard J.K. Dobbins TD run. Quarterback Justin Fields was 3-3 on
the drive for 22 yards and all three of his completions went to different receivers.

For the quarter, Dobbins ran six times for 40 yards while Fields completed four of five
passes for 28 yards. The Buckeyes ran just 15 total offensive plays in the opening 15
minutes.

SECOND QUARTER
Ohio State 49, Miami 5

The first Ohio State possession of the second quarter began with fireworks, as Fields
and WR K.J. Hill connected on a 53-yard touchdown down the left sideline to give the
Buckeyes a 14-5 lead. The pass by Fields and reception by Hill were both career
longs.

On the first play of Miami’s ensuing possession, Jeff Okudah intercepted a Brett
Gabert pass. Three plays later, Fields ran in from seven yards and the extra point
gave the Buckeyes a 21-5 lead.

Fields found the endzone for the second time on the afternoon on the next
possession. He finished off a nine-play, 70-yard drive with a six-yard TD run. The
extra point pushed the Ohio State lead to 28-5. It was his 15th touchdown accounted
for over the first four games of the season.

Ohio State would score three more times before halftime – on a 13-yard pass from
Fields to Chris Olave, a 30-yard pass from Fields to Binjimen Victor and a 10-yard
strike to Olave – to complete a 42-point quarter. Fields finished the first half 14-of-21
for 223 yards and six TDs accounted for while eight different receivers caught
passes. Chase Young had two sacks and two forced fumbles in the quarter while the
Ohio State defense held Miami to -7 yards and allowed only one first down.

THIRD QUARTER
Ohio State 63, Miami 5

Neither team was able to score on their initial possession of the third quarter until QB
Chris Chugunov hit freshman WR Garrett Wilson on a 38-yard TD pass to increase
the Ohio State lead 56-5. It was Wilson’s second TD reception of the year and
Chugunov’s first TD pass as a Buckeye.

Chugunov tossed another touchdown pass, this one to freshman Marcus Crowley,
with 2:15 remaining the quarter to finish off a 10-play, 70-yard drive. It was Crowley’s
first career touchdown. For the quarter, Ohio State outgained Miami 133-9 and did
not allow a RedHawk first down. Chugunov completed six of seven passes for 86
yards and a pair of TDs.

FINAL
Ohio State 76, Miami 5

The fourth quarter saw two Buckeye scores – a Gunnar Hoak touchdown pass to
Jameson Williams at 13:59 and a 2-yard rushing score from Steele Chambers with
3:02 on the clock. The extra point failed on the second TD for the 76-5 final.

They played Miami of Ohio. Relax.

What happens when they play a decent team from a power five conference not in the BIG 10?

BUCKEYES LIGHT UP LINCOLN

More No. 5 OHIO STATE at NEBRASKA

https://ohiostatebuckeyes.com/gameda...hio-state-neb/

Justin Fields accounted for another four touchdowns and J.K. Dobbins turned in a
third-straight standout performance against the Huskers with 177 yards on the
ground as the Buckeyes rolled from the get-go in a 48-7 rout Saturday night in
Lincoln. In the win, Dobbins topped 3,000 yards rushing for his career as a Buckeye.

Ohio State’s defense was dominant once again, shutting out the Huskers through the
first half and allowing just 231 total yards.

With the victory, the No. 5-ranked Buckeyes move to 5-0 overall and 2-0 in the Big
Ten. Ohio State returns home next weekend for another primetime matchup with
Michigan State in Ohio Stadium. ABC has the broadcast.

FIRST QUARTER
Ohio State 14 | Nebraska 0

The Buckeyes’ first-quarter scoring began on their initial possession of the game.
Ohio State was able to make Nebraska pay for an early interception by Jeff Okudah,
moving 50 yards in five plays and scoring on a 15-yard Justin Fields run. J.K.
Dobbins rushed three times on the drive for 10 yards and picked up a key first down
on a third-and-two.

Ohio State increased its lead to 14-0 when it marched 60 yards in 10 plays and
capped off the drive with a two-yard Fields-to-KJ Hill touchdown. The key play on the
drive was a 14-yard run by Fields on third-and-10 from the Nebraska 20 yard line.
Dobbins rushed for 33 yards on the drive, including a 15-yarder in the first play.

A potential Nebraska scoring drive was thwarted late in the first quarter when
Okudah made his second interception of the game deep in Ohio State territory.
Okudah became the first player since Marshon Lattimore in 2016 to record multiple
INTs in a game.

Ohio State outgained Nebraska 154-67 in the opening 15 minutes. Dobbins had 64
yards on 10 carries while Fields completed five of six passes for 61 yards.

SECOND QUARTER
Ohio State 38 | Miami 0

A 13-play, 90-yard drive to open the second quarter resulted in a 23-yard Blake
Haubeil field goal that gave Ohio State a 17-0 lead.

Ohio State’s third interception of the first half – this one by Jordan Fuller at midfield –
led to an eight-yard TD run by Master Teague. Fields had a 41-yard run on the first
play of the drive to set the Buckeyes up in the red zone.

Teague found the endzone for the second time on the night when he barreled in from
one yard out to give Ohio State a 31-0 lead with 5:42 remaining before halftime. The
Buckeyes added another score on a 18-yard Fields-to-Austin Mack connection for a
38-0 lead.

Ohio State outgained Nebraska 378-76 in the first half and compiled 230 rushing
yards – 114 on 17 carries from Dobbins and 80 on eight attempts from Teague.
Fields was 10-of-15 passing for 148 yards and accounted for three touchdowns. Hill
as the team’s leading receiver with four catches for 32 yards and a touchdown.

THIRD QUARTER
Ohio State 48 | Nebraska 7

Ohio State took the second half kickoff and marched 57 yards in nine plays to
increase its lead to 41-0 on Haubeil’s second field goal of the night.

Fields’ third touchdown pass of the night – a six-yarder in the corner of the endzone
to Garrett Wilson – made the score 48-0 in favor of Ohio State. On the drive, Dobbins
rushed for 47 yards and passed Pepe Pearson to move into 10th place on the
school’s all-time career rushing list. Wilson, a freshman, how has a touchdown
reception in consecutive games.

Nebraska got on the scoreboard at the 2:07 mark of the third quarter when Dedrick
Mills ran in from nine yards out following a 56-yard run by quarterback Adrian
Martinez to set up the score. It was the first touchdown that the Ohio State defense
had allowed in eight quarters.

FINAL
Ohio State 48 | Nebraska 7

A complete and thorough beatdown. So far the team is looking good. Hopefully they will continue to execute as their competition stiffens. It's hard to believe that Fields is only a Frosh. Now if we can just keep him around, and healthy. OH BTW, Okudah, and Young are defensive beasts. OH-IO.

Herbie is a problem child. He had to give his Buckey Nation card to be
allowed to sit in Brent Musburger seat.

Certainly, he downplayed OSU and finally, Musburger retired. I can still hear
Brent siding with Arizona QB Jake the Snake Plumber in a game against
OSU. Arizona trailed and Jake ran for a score with only 90 seconds in the
game. Arizona 17 -14. You can cut off a snakes head but it continues to live.
Musburger and Jackson called the game. Then OSU great Joe Germain
settled the QB dual at OSU for good. My favorite Rose Bowl 1997.

https://youtu.be/inT3Kbmut10

I suppose being the first HS player to sign with Cooper blinded him of the
used to be.

No doubt Herbie saw what the football media did to OSU last year.

He does call any game better than most of the rah-rah SEC rejects.
