I have a buddy with a very nice Mike Bender cue and he's looking to trade (preferably up) into any of the following makers:
Tascarella
Cognoscenti
Sugartree
Tim Scruggs
Eddie Cohen
Mike Lambros
He may be interested in others, but only top tier makers. If you're thinking cash, he's asking 1,500 shipped and that's about where the trade value is at as well.
On to the cue: It's a Mike Bender with five points of beautiful Brazilian rosewood and really nice figured birdseye maple. Bender's signature railroad rings at all positions, and two MOP inlays in the buttsleeve. One cool thing is that the ringwork is also Brazilian rosewood, which I've never seen before. He also had an original Cortland wrap put on it. All in all, this is a beautiful cue.
19.5oz, 12.7mm shaft with ivory ferrule in good condition with a slight roll (he plays with this shaft). There is a second shaft which is warped. The butt is in excellent condition.
