No, you didn't hit any nerve, so stop patting yourself on the back. All you did was make a stupid, irrelevant response.

Now, you think Trump "has a great grasp of the issues?" Yeah, he had that birther thing nailed. He was so very proud of himself about it, too.

Like most everything he does, this "debate" will just be Trump promoting Trump.

John Bolton would be interesting as a moderator.

Keep your head down and admire the shot.

What a fuggin' joke. Any candidate who actually attends this debacle should have their head examined. But then, many of them have already lined up to be seen with "The Donald."

What a sad reflection on this country's political process.

Depending on which candidates are so lacking in self-esteem to actually appear for this, it might be like trying to not watch a train wreck right in front of your eyes.

I just don't get why any serious, credible candidate for President of the United States would give this reality show buffoon more than a wave of the hand and a chuckle.

Yes, I understand that you hate Trump.

But, why would he not be a good moderator?
He is intelligent, quick, articulate and understands the issues.

Do you prefer an arrogant, pompous air head like Couric or Gibson, or someone with
a significant professional and financial stake in the election like Ifill?

LOL! I understand that you adore The Donald.

Now that I think about it in a bit different light, I guess Trump moderating a debate with the current GOP crop would not be altogether different than him questioning Gary Busey, Meatloaf, David Cassidy and that Richard guy from the original Survivor show, in his "boardroom," and the whole lot of them sucking up to him for his endorsement.

Maybe he'll be right in his element. It could even spawn a spin-off series--"The GOPrentice."

I think he'll do as good a job as pompous, liberal airheads like Gibson and Couric with their feigned objectivity and be a lot more interesting.

Yes, he is intelligent and articulate, which are a good thing in a moderator. I've always had the impression that Trump wants to be front and center at all times, something not so good in a moderator.

Yep, can't wait to see him try to bully Newt.

Trump may not tolerate deflection and obfuscation from these professional politicians.
Should be interesting.

That's funny. Trump rips the guy for not getting the facts straight, and then proceeds to state as a fact that the hospital where Obama was born has no record of his mother being there.

He's a pretentious, egotistical ass, and a perfect fit for a GOP debate. I can hardly wait for the epic meltdown with Newt.

See, I approach these things with an open mind. I can hardly wait for this now. It will be awesome.

When you said "Do you prefer an arrogant, pompous ....." I thought you were talking about Trump! I don't have a problem with Trump being a moderator but is he an arrogant, pompous bafoon? Yes.
