Al Capool's blind shaft test! Will you feel the difference/s?

To make this test possible, following things are necessary:
1st You need a daily player or at least a cue, which you're using use very often.
2nd That cue should have 2 - 3 *different shafts, with the same taper and tip diameter, or very close to.
(If you have more than 2 - 3 different shafts that’s even better!)
3rd The tips on the *different shafts should either all be the same ones, or at least having +/- the same hardness! Like: Soft, Medium or Hard . . . (It doesn't matter, if you have a layered tip on a shaft and on another a non-layered one!)

What I mean with 2 - 3 *Different shafts:
For example: 1 original shaft (12,75mm), 1 Predator 314-2 shaft (12,75mm) and an OB Shaft (12,75mm) and/or any other LD-Shaft (12,75mm)

AL CAPOOL'S BLIND SHAFT TEST / A - G:
A) Go with a person of your choice to the Poolhall or if you own a table, you can make it at home!
B) Take your cue with all the diff. matching shafts you have and put them all either on the next free table or let them in your open Cue Case! (Take off all the joint protectors)
C) Play a few shots with any other cue.
D) Then repeat 5-times a very easy straight shot, parallel to the long bank. The distance between the Cueball and the Objectball should be around 1 foot. Mark with a chalk the places of the CB and the OB.
Just a straight shot, which you can easily repeat with closed eyes! REMEMBER: The goal isn't to put an OB in a pocket.
E) Meanwhile your friend chooses and screwed the first shaft on your cue. Of course without telling you which one he took! So please stay focused on your 5 shots and don't look what your friend is doing!
F) Now look where the CB and the OB is and when you're ready, stay exactly where you are and ask your friend to give you now your own Cue!
G) Now close your eyes and repeat that previous easy shot 5-times again! If necessary your friend will of course help you, by putting the CB and the OB at the right places and if necessary to redirect you!

YOU FINISHED YOUR 5 SHOTS? NOW GUESS WHICH SHAFT YOU WERE USING!

Let your friend (or who ever) repeat that with all your shafts, but the way he wants and also let him to repeat you these 5 shots (for example) 2 times in a row with the same shaft! Will you know that this was the same shaft again?

Especially with closed eyes, you should feel which shaft you've played most with and which matches the best to you!
Or am I that wrong?
Next time when you goanna play some Pool; just take 10 - 15 minutes to make that test! The results are very surprising!

Those who tried it, what were your results? Did you guess every time right?

KR, Roberto (Al Capool)

P.S. Excuse my Swiss and Italian influenced English. I hope you still understood all above, especially the test!?

This test isn't made, to make you choice the right shaft for you!

Al Capool's blind shaft test is only for fun and to show you that isn't as easy as you may think, to recognize with which shaft you're playing. Especially if you play with closed eyes and without knowing which shaft is now on your Cue!

Who has the courage to try that out? Common guys, you'll see it's quite hard to guess right!

KR to all of you, Roberto (Al Capool)
